The transport department’s order dated December 15 stated that no individual or entity may operate as a used vehicle dealer without a valid authorization certificate. Under the new ftsme work, dealers must register online via a dedicated portal and pay a prescribed fee. Existing dealers will have 15 days to register once the portal is operational. It is hereby informed to all the concerned, who are engaged in the sale and purchase of old vehicles to get themselves registered on the portal within 15 days post Gotty, the letter read.
