A MASSIVE fire broke out at a Sactory at Faridabad’s Mujesar Indrotrial Area in Sector 24 on Monday, leaving more than 37 people injured, including Three policemen involved in fire-Aghting operationsThe fire broke out around 4 pm when sparks from a ma-chireused for cutting steel plates-landed in a drum con raining chemicals, triggering an explosion at Kalkan Lubricants police sald. This set off a chain of blasts as around 20-25 drums were lept in close proximity The flresprend rapidly, sald officers, engulfing the entire factory. Several vehicles, parked within a 10-metre adius of the smit, were chatred, officers sald. Seven firetenden ware deployed to dome the flames, and the blaze was brought under control in asound two hours.
