FARIDABAD, MARCH 26 Taking serious note of the growing trend of students and staff creating social media reels inside school premises, the Haryana Edu-cation Department has issued strict directions pro-hibiting such activities dur-ing school hours.The order, issued by the District Education Officer (DEO), Faridabad, on March 25, aims to safeguard aca-demic discipline, student privacy and the dignity of educational institutions.
The directive follows mul-tiple complaints from gov-ernment schools where students, teachers and even non-teaching staff were reportedly creating reels, memes and short entertain-ment videos within campus-es. Authorities observed that such activities were dis-rupting studies and raising concerns over safety and misuse of digital content.
