Barely seven months after revising property registra tion charges following the Assembly elections, the Haryana Government is set to implement another hike in collector rates the minimum benchmark va ue for registration of properties from August 1.
The revised rates have been uploaded as draft proposals on respective district websites for public objections, which can be filed till July 31 These rates vary across tehstis, and even within specific Iqcalities depending on land use and proximity To Infrastructure highways.
In Gurugram tehsil, the hikes is among the steeperb A 77% increase is praposed for residential land located two acres off the National Highway in Gurgaon village, pushing the rate to Rs 45,000 per square yard. Residential properties in Inayatpur and Hidayatpur Chhawni are proposed to go up by 25% and 20%, respectively.
For agricultural land, hikes are even steeper 145% in Bajghera and 108% in Sarhaul. In HUDA see-tors, the proposed increases range from 10 to 62%, depending on the location.
Faridabad tehsil is also expected to see a broad revision, with residential, commercial and agricultural properties facing hiles between 10 and an in Wazirpur, agricultural land will be valued at Rs-P82 crore per acre for standard land and Rs 3.83 crore per acre for prime plots.
