Relief For Lakhs: Toll Plaza Near Gurgaon To Be Shifted
New Delhi: The govt hasapp
roved shifting of Gurgaon’s Kherki Daula toll plaza-on-the – Delhi-Jaipur National High -way (NH-48) to Pachgaon, a place beyond Manesar, pa ving the way for easy commu-te for lakhs of office goers.
When the plaza is moved to Pachgaon, over 15 kms from Gurgaon, commuters travel ling between Delhi and Mane sar also won’t have to pay toll. Locals have been demanding Ks removal since 2014,
T01 has learnt that Union rond wansport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari has approved the plan, and to en-sure the new spot doesn’t see any congestion, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will go for Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) toll collec-tion system. For the new faci-lity, the Haryana govt. has pro vided nearly 28 acres of land to the highway authority, sources said.
