
Delhi, Haryana stretches of NH-44 top killers in country
New Delhi: The Haryana and, Delhi sections of NH-44 Indi, a’s longest highway that con nects Srinagar in the north to Kanyakumari in the south are the most unsafe road stref chies in the country, going by the data for 2023. While 715 lives were lost on the 266-km section of the highway in Haryana, which translates into three fa talities per km, the 30-km Delhi portion recorded 63 deaths, or almost two deathsa km.
