GURUGRAM The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Guragram, has advised the genemi public to invest in properties only through RERA-registered real estate agents to ensure that property transactions are genuine, transparent, and legally valid. In its advisory, the Authority cautioned that unregistered real estate agents often make false or misleading promises to lure unsuspecting home buyers, leading to financial and legal complications.
“Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, mandates that no real estate agent can facilitate the sale of purchase of any property in a real estate project without obtaining registration from RERA,” the advisory stated.
